Laakson Metalli has been manufacturing slurrytankers more than 40 years - and vacuumtankers for almost 30 years.

Even if the models of the tankers has been changed during the years, it is still possible to easily get  spareparts also for the older tankers.

Lame vacuumtankers fullfill the requirements of 'Machine Directive' and 'Pressure Equipment Directive' of European Union. Every single tanker is inspected by certified inspection company.
The certificate of the inspection is delivered together with the tanker.

The maximum discharge pressure of the tanker is 1,0 bar.
The tanker is designed for full vacuum (-1,0 bar).

The vessel has been welded on both sides and the walls of the pipes are welded through.

We use only certified materials in our tankers.

Vacuumtankers are manufactured in several sizes;
4700, 5800, 6800, 7900, 10000 ja 12000 litres, with different axle options. Biggest sizes are 1600mm and 1450mm in diameter. Smaller tankers are 1340mm in diameter.
Wall thickness is 5mm, except biggest 3 sizes are made with 6mm tanks ends (sidewall is still 5mm).

Tankers are equipped with 5000l/min vacuumpump. Optional pumps are 8000 and 12000 l/min.

The spreading nozzle gives even spreading result to whole width. The spreading width is 8 to 10 metres.

Standard equipment :

• Strong chassis with two beams

• buckling stiffeners around the vessel - tanker stands full vacuum

• inside coating is epoxy pitch and outside there are two layers of paint

• there are two hoses going from vacuumpump to the tanker: separate hoses for vacuum and pressure

• reliable overflow valve with two balls to prevent liquid going into the vacuumpump

• when unloading, the pressurized air is directed to the pipe at the bottom of the tanker (for mixing)

• Manhole ( 500mm in diameter ) at rear

• 2 or 3 inspection glasses at the front one at the rear end

• stand for the P.T.O. shaft (when not in use)

• plastic suction hose of Ø102mm in diameter, lenght 6 metres

• rearlights, rear reflectors and a slow vehicle reflector

• extra lights at front and rear of tankers, when tanker is wider than 2,6 metres

• Vacuumpump Battioni 5000 l / min

Optional equipment :

• Vacuumpump 8000 l / min
• Vacuumpump 12000 l / min,
  with 12000 l/min pump, 5 inch suction hose is delivered
• Lower suction pipe with fork coupling
• Hydraulic gate valve at rear pipe
